2025 - 2026 Clinics & Tryouts

Chicago Central will be offering FREE tryouts and/or clinics for both boys and girls players who attend Chicago Central Hockey membership schools.

The boys will field 2 teams for the 2025 - 2026 season and thus will be required to tryout to determine whether they play on the Varsity Team or the Junior Varsity Team; some players will be double rostered on both teams. Note: Chicago Central is a no-cut club so everyone will make a team.

There will be 1 girls team for 2025 - 2026 and everyone will make the team.

Please refer to the schedule below for how the clinics and tryouts will be organized:

1. There will be 4, optional, coed clinics over 2 days (August 19th and 20th). Players will be split into 2 groups alphabetically and each player will receive an email prior to August 18th confirming their assigned group.
2. The boys will have a mandatory tryout on August 23rd and their assigned group will be communicated via email no later than August 21st.
3. The girls will have their first practice August 24th.
4. A subset of boys will be invited via email to return August 24th for a final scrimmage and tryout to determine the final JV and Varsity rosters.
5. By no later than August 25th, the boys will be informed of the team they have made.
